Shekere

Material: coconut, hard wood, string.
Size: cca. ø12 cm.
There is a net with tiny wooden balls knotted on the polished coconut. We catch the net with one hand, with the other hand we hold the handle of the instrument. We turn the net on the head left and right, thus it gives out a rubbing, grating sound.
The surface is treated with linen oil. 100 % hungarian handicraft product.
