Nut-rumbler

This simple folk toy is made of two halves of nutshells fixed on a 8-10 cm long, thin hard wood slab.
The gadget starts turning after rolling the string up and pulling the handle with a sudden and strong impulse. The air currenting into the holes drilled on nutshells give out a rumbling, whistling noise similar to bird sound.
This old folk toy is great fun and a perfect skill developing gadget, not only for children. The surface is treated with linen oil.
It is 100% hungarian handicraft product.
